  1. I would say right away, because if you buy it early you’ll save money because everyones not rushing to get tickets.

  2. I recommend the travel agency IACE. They sell discount tickets to Japan and they’re really excellent about finding you the best deal.

    If you go to Japan for New Year’s, be prepared to spend at least 1200-1500 per person for ticket. The ticket, however, is much cheaper if you go before 12/20 (about 800 dollars) or on 1/2. Strange, isn’t it?

    Actually IACE is good about getting cheap tickets for you a few months before you go. The Best deals actually come almost at the last minute, but do contact them!
