Best online site(s) to buy colored contact lenses for dress up/Halloween?

buy contact lenses online
Nikki asked:

I am trying to find cheap but quality one time use non-prescription solid or crazy colored contact lenses online. Most of the sites I’ve come across seem to be for every day use and are fairly expensive. Does anyone have good past experiences with certain sites and/or brands? I’ve never worn contacts before… are certain kinds better than others (full eyed lenses, certain brands, textures)? Do you have any pointers since I’ve never worn lenses, e.g. don’t do this, don’t buy this kind, always use solution, don’t make this mistake.

Thank you in advance!

  1. If you have never worn lenses before, then two things you should know. You will need to have an eye exam done to determine your proper size. You should also buy your lenses far in advance so you have plenty of time to wear them around and get used to them. You don’t want to have Halloween night be your first time trying them on and then find out you can’t wear them.

It should also go without saying that items that go directly onto your eye are NOT where you should be trying to save money. You can get away with wearing cheap shoes but a low quality lens can cause serious damage to your eyes including scratched corneas and even blindness. Work a couple of extra shifts and save up the money to buy a quality pair of cosmetic lenses and skip the cheap products.

When you have your exam done ask the eye doctor for their reccomandation for cosmetic lenses. They will steer you to a reputable source that where you can buy a product with low risk of any damage to your eyes.

For wild halloween cosmetic lenses I do recommend this supplier:

I produce haunted house attractions and have used them many times to provide the finishing touch to the makeup of many of our characters.

    Good luck and happy hauntings!
