Did anybody buy Select Comfort\’s Mattress. How is your experience with it?

buy a mattress
NikelMan asked:

I plan to buy a New mattress, and heard about the Select Confort brand with dual control sleep number.

It sounds like a air- bed. without spring, only use a pump to fill the mattress.

I am concerned about the quality of the product, and reliability of the mechanical parts.

Please write to me what do you feel about the value of your money spend. And, what do you like and dislike about the product.

  1. It is basically just an overpriced fancy airbed, that’s why I won’t buy one.

I bought a nice air mattress for $29 at walmart, and sleep on it whenever my back/neck acts up.

  2. That is because you are a cheap basterd. I won’t every buy something like a matress from wal-mart.

  3. my husband I bought one at least five years ago. we have never been happier. he has some back problems and now never complains about that. it is a little bit expensive. there is hard plastic box that replaces your box spring, and the mattress comes in pieces that are very easy to assemble. there is a very firm foam outlining both areas (in a queen or king) with an air mattress in that spot. you can have a remote or wired control on each side. we highly recommend to all our family and friends. in fact, my sister and her husband have bought one and are equally happy. another thing to keep in mind is that you can disassemble it and move it in a large box!
